a. Full-Time

An employee who has successfully completed his or her Introductory/Orientation Period and who works at least 78 hours in a pay period is considered a full-time employee with exception of the following, which are herein after referred to as “Per Visit Full Time Employees”:

  1. Registered Nurses and Therapists are considered full time when he/she performed a minimum of 52 patients visits per pay period.
     
  2. License Practical Nurses are considered full time when they perform a minimum of 30 patient visits per week.
  3. For purposes of this section, the following type of service is counted as a specific numbers of patient visits:
     
    1. Admission: 2 patient visits
       
    2. Resumption: 2 patient visits
       
    3. Recertification: 1.5 patient visits
       
    4. Discharge 1 patient visit
       
    5. Routine Visit 1 patient visit
       
    6. Case Conference
       
      1. Where employees participation is 15 minutes or less: 0.25 patient visit
         
      2. Where employees participation is 16 to 30 minutes: 0.50 patient visit
         
      3. Where employees participation is 31 to 45 minutes: 0.75 patient visit
         
      4. Where employees participation is 46 minutes or more: 1 patient visit
         
    7. Inservice: 1 patient visits
       

1. At times, a Per Visit Full time Employee may be directed by the Clinical Manager/Administrator to visit a single patient or a group of patients in the same geographic area that requires the Per Visit Full time Employee to travel in excess of 70 miles per Mapquest from the Pierce Street Office to the single patient or geographic area. In such a circumstance, the Per Visit Full time Employee will be compensated one (1) additional patient visit on the day in which the Per Visit Full time Employee travels in excess of 70 miles to visit the single patient or group of patients in the same geographic area.

2. Per Visit Full time Employee will be reimbursed one (1) visit if directed by Clinicial Manager/Administrator to visit a single patient that requires travel in excess of 70 miles per Mapquest from the Pierce Street Office. If

3. Mileage reimbursement per set rate. Mileage starts after first patient of day and ends at the end of the day at Pierce Street Office.

Unless otherwise specified, the benefits described in this Employee Handbook and bonuses as described in the criteria sheets apply only to full-time employees.

If an employee is a full-time employee and has been on an approved leave of absence, upon return he or she will be considered a full-time employee, provided he or she returns to work as agreed in the provisions of his or her leave.

If a full-time employee has not been granted a leave of absence and no longer qualifies as a full time employee as defined by this section, his or her status will be changed to that of a part-time employee and will no longer receive the benefits of a full-time employee.

  Full time hourly employees must have overtime approved in writing by immediate Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor in another area.
