d. Non-Exempt and Exempt Employees ( continued )

Exempt employees are those employees whose compensation is based upon an established annualized salary. Exempt employees who work a partial month will be compensated at a pro-rated basis using the actual number of days worked in that month.

e. Inactive Status

Employees who are on any type of leave of absence, work-related or non-work-related, that exceeds three months will be placed on inactive status. During the time the employee is on inactive status, benefits will cease.
