4. Conducting Personal Business

Erwine Home Health and Hospice expects each employee to focus his or her time while at work towards the success of Erwine’s. Employees are to conduct only Erwine business while at work. Employees may not conduct personal business or business for another employer during their scheduled working hours. Online activity is monitored and reported on a quarterly basis.

 

5. Confidentiality

Each employee is responsible for safeguarding the confidential information obtained during employment.

In the course of his or her responsibilities, an employee may have access to confidential information regarding Erwine Home Health and Hospice or perhaps even fellow employees. An employee has a responsibility to prevent revealing or divulging any such information unless it is necessary to do so in the performance of his or her duties. Access to confidential information should be on a “need-to-know” basis and must be authorized by your supervisor.

To help ensure that confidentiality is maintained, each employee of Erwine Home Health and Hospice and any service provider to Erwine Home Health and Hospice deemed necessary will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement at the time of hire or commencement of services.
