Erwine Home Health and Hospice voice mail and/or electronic mail (e-mail) are to be used for business purposes only. Employees are advised that they should have no expectation of privacy in communicating through Erwine-owned electronic devices, including, but not limited to, telephones, laptops, and office computers. Erwine Home Health and Hospice reserves the right to monitor voicemail messages and email messages to ensure compliance with this rule, without notice to the employee and at any time, not necessarily in the employee’s presence.

Erwine Home Health and Hospice may periodically need to assign and/or change passwords and personal codes for an employee’s voicemail and computer. Erwine may limit, at any time, the size and number of electronic messages that an employee may have. Employees are expected to refrain from accessing social network and entertainment telephone and websites while utilizing Erwine electronic equipment. Likewise, employees may not download material of a personal nature onto Erwine electronic property. Erwine Home Health and Hospice reserves the right to restrict such non-business use access. Erwine may keep a record of all passwords and codes used to access and Erwine-owned device and/or may be able to override any such password system.

It is the policy of Erwine’s to provide an environment that encourages the use of computers, jet packs, therapy equipment and electronic information in the performance of Erwine business. The Erwine’s investment in information technology is intended to facilitate communication among and between the Erwine personnel and the Erwine clients and to their patients who are involved in the conduct of the Erwine Business. It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure that this technology is used exclusively for proper business purposes and in a manner consistent with Erwine’s business interests. We all have an important interest in ensuring that the confidentiality of the Erwine business and client information is not compromised.
