F. ON THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
3. Performance Evaluations
Each employee will receive periodic performance reviews conducted by their Manager. The first performance evaluation will take place after completion of 3 to 6 months of employment. Subsequent performance evaluations will be conducted annually. The frequency of performance evaluations may vary depending upon length of service, job position, past performance, changes in job duties, or recurring performance problems.
Performance evaluations may review factors such as the quality and quantity of the work, knowledge of the job, initiative, work attitude, and attitude toward others. The performance evaluations are intended to make employees aware of their progress, areas for improvement, and objectives or goals for future work performance. Favorable performance evaluations do not guarantee increases in salary or promotions. Salary increases and promotions are solely within the discretion of Erwine Home Health and Hospice and depend upon many factors in addition to performance. After the review, employees will be required to sign the evaluation report simply to acknowledge that it has been presented to them, that it was discussed with a supervisor, and that the employee is aware of its contents.
4. Housekeeping
All employees are expected to keep their personal work areas clean and organized. People using common areas such as lunch rooms and restrooms are expected to keep them sanitary. Employees should clean up after meals and dispose of trash properly.
